Non-executive Advisory Members: Our advisors review our general business progress on a regular basis using reports and briefings provided by the executive team, auditors, technical advisors, community trustees and the chairperson of our member council. Their role ensures that objective advice is available to the business from a wide pool of experience and expertise.

Each Advisory Member was selected based upon their individual accomplishments, their integrity and their enthusiasm for effecting positive change in environmental, social and ethical practice.

Miles Peckham

Miles started his career with merchant bank, Banque Belge. As a co-founder of travel industries service company, the Watermark Group Plc, he oversaw listings on OFFEX and the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) before a final listing on the London Stock Exchange in 1998. Miles completed an MBO of Watermark Event Management in May 2001 where he is currently the CEO. Having created and produced events and product launches for the likes of Disney, Kodak, Budweiser, P&O and the Virgin Group Miles has a wealth of international project management experience.

An enthusiast of many outdoor challenges, Miles completed the Sydney to Hobart offshore sailing race in 1981. In March 2003, Miles became the Chairman of the pole2pole charity as it was originally known which today is called The Muscular Help Foundation. He was a member of Michael McGrath’s North Pole team in April 2002 and also his South Pole team in January 2004.
